Rants in the Park with Flourish – Monday mornings 9.30am (school terms)

Walk, stroll, amble or run, with or without your off-road buggy, then sit back and enjoy a coffee at Flourish. The benefits of nature, exercise, and social connection (and coffee!) for the mental health of a parent are well known and accepted.

Te Māmā Tuesday 9.00/9.30am start – 11.00am – Starts 14th May

Te Māmā is an opportunity for parents to take some time for themselves for an hour and half for FREE. Maybe partake in some yoga, meditation, breathwork, postpartum workout or whatever is on the timetable that would fill your cup. "Caring childcare is available onsite for a small fee and needs to pre-booked." ❤️👏💐

Awhi childminding at Flourish

A childminding service created to tautoko, support the wellbeing of our Flourish parenting community. Awhi is available during our Te Māma Wellbeing session on Tuesday Morning 9am - 11am and Wednesday lunchtime 12pm - 2pm. This is offered to support our parents to be able to come along to the wellbeing sessions.

Intention Connection in MAY – a movie night!

Intention Connection happens twice in a school term, gathering at Flourish where parents can show up as they are, be accepted, supported, and uplifted by connection with other parents on this crazy rollercoaster called the parenting journey. This could be craft session, a movie night a commmunity dinner…. stay tuned…

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren – Coffee Support Group 12pm – 1.30pm

If you are supporting a grandchild on a full-time basis or understand the blessings and challenges that this role brings, we would love to meet with you. We welcome you sharing your experiences – to be seen, heard and celebrated.

Toolbox Pre School Years (0-4 years)

Parenting your toddler or preschooler comes with a surprising amount of unexpected challenges! Sleep deprivation, strong-willed two-year-olds, picky eaters and food flying everywhere!

Toolbox Primary Years (5 to 12 years)

Just when we all think we’re getting the hang of this parenting thing, our toddlers become 5-year-olds going on 13-year-olds and we find ourselves facing a whole set of new challenges! Starting school, navigating friendships and deciding how may hours of screen time are too many hours of screen time?

Booster Course a refresher – following a completed parenting course

For anyone who has done The Incredible Years or Toolbox preschool or primary years course and would like a ‘refresher’. We will review the main tools and gems from both programmes and then problem solve these with you in terms of something that you are currently struggling with.

Kotahitanga – Social Service Provider Meet-up twice a term at Flourish

Creating connected and compassionate communities who collaborate, consult and communicate. Flourish aims to create easier and more effective access to services for whanau, and to provide increased support for social service providers and referring agencies through connection and shared information.

Seasons For Growth Parent Programme provides an opportunity for parents to better understand the experience of death, separation and divorce and bereavement from a child’s perspective, and to explore ideas and strategies that they may wish to consider as they support their children transition through family change.

Choices in Childbirth JUNE 2024

Choices in Childbirth classes are intended to be taken in addition to Antenatal Classes. Active Birth Taranaki Inc. is a group of people passionate in supporting natural birth, working towards a community which is confident in woman’s ability to birth naturally, where woman and their birthing partners experience the power of positive childbirth. We are here to inform and inspire you from our personal birth experiences and knowledge.

Board Gaming – Tuesday Nights

The art of board gaming teaches us practical skills, useful lessons, engages our emotions, and challenges our intellect. There's nothing better to create memories, generate traditions, and foster relationships. 

Taranaki Cubers 10am – 12pm

We love to meet through games – cubing, chess, 3D design and print, Catan, DnD, Lego, cup stacks Curious kids who love these kinds of games, welcome to come along and hang with or without their adult. We meet up every second Sunday during school term, fun and refreshments provided.

An online Membership for parents to learn the simple daily habits to transform their home lives from stress city to a happy haven for all.
